”正直、悔いはあります！”(I have regrets!)

       

AVCCupを最後に終了は残念ですね。

2019年マイナスからスタートしたチームが世界で戦えるまでになったことは監督である私が胸を張って言えます。

技術向上は勿論、選手らの人格形成に取り組んできました。

過去の台湾バレーは、技術向上のみに取り組み、アジア女子バレー界に取り残される結果となりました。

選手らに、プロとは？何の為にバレーをやるのか？と常に説いてきました。

『私は教育者ではない。プロコーチだ！』と言ってきましたが何気ないところで人間教育には力を入れてきたのも確かです。

人間的に成長したから、プレーに対する個々の成長があり、個々の成長があるからチーム、組織としての成長が現れたことを確信してます。

前回のブログでも伝えましたが、チームの中心的存在P選手の離脱後、選手らは確実に人間的、一人のプレーヤーとして成長したことを述べました。

しかし、台湾協会のスタッフは、目の前の結果だけに捉われ個々の成長、チームの成長を見抜いていないことは残念ですね。

2018年アジア大会のチームと2022年のチームとの違いがわからないとは素人レベルだと思います。

選手らは間違いなく進歩、進化しています。

更なる期待が2023年に持てるのに、ここで終わるとは残念でなりません。

It's a shame that AVCcup ends last.

As a coach, I can confidently say that a team that started with a negative start in 2019 is now able to compete on the world stage.

In addition to improving the technique, we have also worked on the character formation of the players.

Until now, Taiwanese volleyball has been left behind in the Asian women's volleyball world, as it has focused solely on technical improvement.

Players, what is a pro? What do you play volleyball for? I was preaching all the time.

"I'm not an educator. I'm a professional coach!"

   

I believe that because I have grown as a person, I have also grown as an individual player. I am convinced that we have grown as an organization because we have grown as a team.

As I wrote in my previous blog, I wrote that since P, the team's core player, left the team, he has definitely grown both as a person and as a player.

However, it is a pity that the staff of the Taiwanese Football Association were so preoccupied with the results in front of them that they could not see the growth of the team or the growth of the team.

I think it's amateur level that you don't know the difference between the 2018 Asian Games team and the 2022 team.

This player has definitely progressed and evolved.

We have high hopes for 2023 and it's a shame it ends here.
