14時よりLong An戦。
結果を告げますと0-3完敗。
15日までの試合内容が嘘のような、チームのまとまりに欠ける内容でした。
最後の試合にして最悪の試合内容でしたね。
言い訳ではないですが、15日の試合後の件をお伝えしましょう。
試合後ホテルへ戻り、GMからスタッフ、選手一同会議室へ集まるように指示を受けました。
何やら、ベスト４進出したので特別ボーナスが出るとか・・
嬉しそうに金銭を受け取る選手らを見て、私は不吉な予感がしたのは確かですね。
内心“大会終わってから渡してくれよ！”と言うのが私の正直な思いでした。
結果は、先にお伝えしたように0-3完敗。
燦々たる試合内容でした。
二つの不安ごとの②が起きてしまいました。
敵はネットの向こうでなく自チームに居ました。
要するに、一人一人の選手が自分自身に負けていたわけです。
15日、ベスト４進出を決めスポンサーからの特別ボーナス。
その時点で、選手らの気持ちは、今大会終了してしまっていたのでしょう。
出来れば大会終了後に、特別ボーナスは配当して欲しかったですね。
こうして、ユーストーナメント2023は3位、銅メダルで幕を閉じました。

今大会でベトナムバレー界の組織を知り、ベトナム民族をまた一つ学びました。

At that point, the feelings of the players would have ended this tournament.
