National Youth tournament（7話）
6月６日に開幕した“National Youth tournament 2023”も19日に閉幕しました。
ベトナムでの初大会となったこの２週間、感じたこと・体験したこと・驚いたこと・その他をお伝えしたいと思います。
(その1)
コートはタラフレックス使用。
オールコートのためシニアリーグ、国際大会同様名前のコールがある。
この件は、以前タイ滞在時（20年前）にも経験している。
(その2)
男子１４チーム、女子１３チーム参加。計２３チーム。
一日４試合行う。そのため、中休み有り。
また、試合が長引いた場合、夜中に1日のスケジュールが終了することがある。
※15日の試合終了時刻は、日付が変わっていた。
(その3)
監督陣は、レフリーに対してクレームを言わない。
“よく、あのジャッジにクレーム言わないな〜”と驚く前に感心した。
レフリーは平和であろう！
私が、レフリーにクレームを言ったことにjuryから指摘され、その後、Juryと言い合いになってしまった。
Juryは“厄介な日本人来たな！😔”と思ったはずだ。

コート設営を一人のスタッフが行う。
コート設営担当は、体育館管理も行なっている。
早朝練習のチームに合わせ体育館を解放し、ネット設営を一人で行う。
我がチーム(Kinh Bac-bac Ninh)が練習する時は選手にサポートさせた。
(その5)
体育館喫煙可。
観戦中に喫煙。草野球かと思った。
一度、選手らと試合観戦中前席でタバコを吸う人物あり。
選手らは匂いが気になり、煙たい様子。そのため、私が注意した。
その方は、素直に応じてくれたが、逆に逆鱗に触れる可能性もあるらしい。
よく館内を見ると『禁煙』の表示がなかったことに、大会最終日に気づいた。
ベトナムバレーは、メキメキと力をつけアジアから世界へ出ようとしている。
ベトナムバレーが世界進出を目指すのであれば、大会組織委員会も世界レベルに近づく必要がある。
ベトナム協会がタイ、フィリピンのように国際試合開催するのであれば、観客へのマナーを徹底させることも重要な役割であるはずだ。
こうして、なんだかんだで私のベトナム国内大会初体験は終了しました。
決勝進出は叶わなかったが、選手らはこの三ヶ月よく私について来てくれたことに感謝したいですね。
初戦前日のミーティングで
『この三ヶ月、いつも叱ってばかりいた。
ハードな練習にも取り組ませた。
やるべきことはやった。
だから、この大会は大いにを楽しめ！！』
と選手を送り出しました。
決勝進出は叶いませんでしたが、7月30日開幕のYouth Club Cupに向け巻き返しを図ります。
また、スタッフへも大会前からデーター収集についてのご苦労に感謝したい。
そして、初アナリストとして遠征同行してくれたN氏。
チームサポートしてくれたGMのD氏。

The National Youth Tournament 2023 opened on June 6th and ended on the 19th.
I would like to talk about what I felt, what I experienced, and what surprised me during the first two weeks in Vietnam.
(part1)
The coat uses Taraflex.
Because of the all-court competition, the name is also mentioned in senior leagues and international competitions.
I experienced this when I was in Thailand (20 years ago).
(Part 2)
14 men's teams and 13 women's teams participated. 23 teams in all.
Play 4 games a day. Therefore, we must take a break.
Also, if the game is prolonged, the schedule for the day may end at midnight.
*The end time of the game on the 15th has been changed.
(Part 3)
The supervisors do not complain to the referee.
Before I was surprised, I was impressed, saying, “Well, don’t complain to that judge.”
Peace be the referee!
Jury pointed out that I complained to the referee, and after that I got into an argument with Jury.
Jury must have thought, “You are a troublesome Japanese!😔”.

One staff will set up the court.
The team in charge of setting up the court also manages the gymnasium.
The gymnasium will be opened according to the morning practice team, and the net will be set up by one person.
When our team (Kinh Bac-bac Ninh) practiced, we let the players support us.

Smoking is allowed in the gymnasium.
Smoking while watching. I thought it was grass baseball.
Once, there was a person who smoked in the front seat while watching a game with the players.
The players were worried about the smell and seemed to be smoky. That's why I took note.
That person obediently responded, but on the contrary, it seems that there is a possibility of touching the scales.
On the final day of the tournament, I noticed that there was no "no smoking" sign on the inside of the building.
Vietnam volleyball is trying to go out from Asia to the world by gaining strength.
If Vietnam volleyball aims to advance into the world, the tournament organizing committee needs to approach the world level.
If the Vietnam Association is to hold international matches like Thailand and the Philippines, it should have an important role to thoroughly enforce manners for spectators.
In this way, my first Vietnam domestic competition experience ended somehow.
We didn't advance to the finals, but I am grateful to the players who followed us well for the past three months.
At the meeting the day before the first match, he said, "I have been scolding him for the past three months. I will continue to do my best."
I also put him through rigorous training.
I did what I had to do.
Enjoy the competition! ! ’ and sent off the player.
Although they did not advance to the final, they will try to make a comeback for the Youth Club Cup, which will start on July 30th.
