再会Ⅲ(reunion3)
今回のAVC Cupは、懐かしい方々との再会の場となりました。
下山先生(写真中央)とは、海外で一番お会いしている日本人ではないでしょうか!😀
私が、日立コーチ時代は国際審判として活躍され、国際審判講習会が日立体育館で行われていたこともあり存じ上げていました。
また、大学も私の先輩にも当たる方です。
不思議なものですね〜？
下山先生、酒井監督らとは日本で会うことないのに、海外ならば会えるとは・・・😅
Mr Leeは、チャイニーズタイペイナショナルチーム監督時に、分析ソフト作成をお願いした方です。
2019年監督就任後、台湾国内リーグ観戦しベンチや観客席でデーターを記録する習慣がないことに驚きました。(台湾に分析する習慣が無かった)
ナショナルチームとは言え“イタリアンデーター”など無く、日本人アナリスト採用を打診しましたが、答えは”No〜!!“
余談ですが、2019AVC Club Cupでは、専門ビデオ編集員を同行させました。
しかし、データーは手書き！と、各国アナリストらから一部を譲り受けてました😀（この行為は、2020年オリンピック最終予選まで続きます）
この時、思いましたが、どこの国のアナリストも流石に最重要データーは、譲ってくれませんよね。ははは・・・（当たり前ですが😀）
国内リーグ観戦中に、タッチパネルソフト持参の人物を発見。
詳しくは、あちらから私へ話しかけてきました。
その時に、製作者がMr Leeと知ったのです。
意外に、このタッチパネルソフト、高校チームが採用してましたね。
そして、Mr Leeと改良に改良を重ね完成。
協会に専門のアナリスト採用を再度打診しましたが、見事に却下😭
仕方ないのでコーチにタッチパネル操作トレーニングさせ、2022年８月のAVC Championshipにて初採用したわけです。
せっかくですから、タッチパネルソフトのメリット・デメリットを紹介します。
【メリット】：タッチパネルなので、トレーニング次第で早くマスター可能。
：アナリストで活動の場が増える。
【デメリット】：パネルをタッチする際、ラリーから目を離すため見落としがある。
：“イタリアンデーター”“バレーステーション”ほど詳しいデーター採取
不可能。（当たり前だ）
開発後、Mr Leeには特許申請を進めました。
そして、国内リーグのチームを含め、高校・大学でもタッチパネルデーターを普及させ、分析の習慣化、活用法など台湾バレー界向上に繋がる活動を計画しました。
選手らへもデーターを見る習慣→興味→活用法を学ばせようと、まずは始めにナショナルチーム選手から取り組んでいきました。が、私の契約が2022年9月30日に終了と同時に、この計画は無となり現在は使用されていません。
そんなこんなで、Mr Leeとの親交は、今も続いています。
今回のAVC Cupでのベトナム訪問は、随分前から連絡を受けていました。
ありがたいですね。
台湾では多くの方々に協力していただき、多くの友人を得ました。
Mr Leeも、その中の一人です。

また、会おう（再見）
This AVC Cup was a chance to reunite with old friends.
Shimoyama-sensei is probably the most Japanese person I have met overseas!
When I was a Hitachi coach, I was active as an international referee, and I knew that the international referee seminar was held at the Hitachi Gymnasium.
Also, the university is also my senior.
It's strange, isn't it?
I never met Shimoyama-sensei and Sakai-sensei in Japan, but I thought I would be able to meet them overseas...😅
Mr Lee is the person who requested the creation of analysis software when he was the manager of the Chinese Taipei National Team.
After taking office as manager in 2019, I was surprised that there was no custom of recording data on the bench or in the audience while watching the domestic league in Taiwan. (There was no custom of analyzing in Taiwan)
Although it was a national team, there was no "Italian data", so I asked about hiring a Japanese analyst, but the answer was "No~!!"
As an aside, at the 2019 AVC Club Cup, we had a professional video editor accompany us.
But the data is handwritten! And I received some from analysts in each country 😀 (This act will continue until the final qualifying for the 2020 Olympics)
At that time, I thought that analysts in any country would not hand over the most important data. Hahaha... (obviously 😀)
While watching the domestic league, I found a person with touch panel software.

That's when I learned that the creator was Mr Lee.
Surprisingly, this touch panel software was adopted by a high school team.
Then, Mr. Lee and I improved it and completed it.
I asked the association to hire a professional analyst again, but it was rejected 😭
It can't be helped, so I had my coach train me on how to operate the touch panel, and I adopted it for the first time at the AVC Championship in August 2022.
Since it is a big deal, I will introduce the advantages and disadvantages of touch panel software.
[Advantages]: Because it is a touch panel, it can be mastered quickly depending on
training.
: Analysts have more places to work.
[Disadvantages]: When you touch the panel, you may overlook it because you take
your eyes off the rally.
: Collect data as detailed as "Italian data" and "valet station"
Impossible. (No wonder)
After development, Mr Lee proceeded to apply for a patent.
We also planned activities that will lead to the improvement of the Taiwanese volleyball
world, such as disseminating touch panel data in high schools and universities, including domestic league teams, making analysis habits, and using methods.
I wanted the players to learn the habits of looking at data, their interests, and how to
use it, so I started with the national team players. However, as soon as my contract
expires on September 30, 2022, this plan is no longer in use.
In this way, my friendship with Mr Lee continues to this day.
I have been informed of the visit to Vietnam for this AVC Cup for quite some time.
